Are you an experienced Key / National Account Manager looking to join a global ASX listed organisation and take the next step in your career?
As a valued part of the Sales team, your role will be drive key relationships within a portfolio of major strategic Retail customers, focusing on retention and growth.
This role will be field based with regular visits to our Auckland head office in Manukau and reports directly to the Sales Director for CHEP NZ.
The key responsibilities of this role include :
Conduct major commercial negotiations with National Retail accounts to maximise growth opportunities
Develop, drive and leverage multi-level and cross-functional strategic relationships within the customer's organization
Identify and deliver Retail Ready Packaging strategic growth opportunities including Display Pallets, Meat and Poultry Crates, Beverage Trays and Foldable RPC’s
Build CHEP brand equity, relationships and support within New Zealand’s FMCG food and beverage, DIY Hardware, Variety, Liquor and Automotive retailers by compiling, delivering, and measuring compelling retailer specific value propositions
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and qualifications :
Strong organisational and collaboration skills and the ability to influence leadership and key internal stakeholders.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Logistics or other related area or formal training in negotiation, sales, service
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to pick trends and identify opportunities
Ability to conduct customer negotiations and close a sale.
Passion, innovation and the ability to act as a change agent for achieving results
Bachelors - Business Administration / Management, Bachelors - Logistics Management, Bachelors - Marketing
