We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to drive a superior customer service experience, and craft a culture of employee engagement that contributes to the store achieving agreed business targets.

We know that retail is ever changing, so we'll expect you to explore new ideas, collaborate and innovate.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will have direct responsibility for the financial performance of the store. To help you achieve this are your Assistant Store Manager, two Sales Managers, and your head VM, store receiver and support services leader.

Your role is to set the direction required to enable great performance, and develop the same commercial focus in your managers, while ensuring company standards including compliance, retail disciplines and human resources are adhered to.

Thanks to your extensive experience in a senior store manager's role, you'll be a masterful motivator, and able to adapt your style to suit your audience.

You will be able to provide examples of times you've set exacting but achievable goals and provided clear and encouraging feedback.

Organisational skills are also key for your success, as is a true passion for unsurpassable customer service.

About the role - in this role you will :

  • Drive customer service strategy so that the store is renowned for outstanding customer service
  • Improve the commercial performance of the store by increasing its turnover and maximising store contribution
  • Ensure that talent practices attract, develop, retain, motivate and reward all team members
  • Ensure presentations standards for store are met, and oversee Visual Merchandising
  • Motivate, inspire and engage the team, creating a high performing team committed to each other and its customers
  • About you - to excel in this role you'll have :

  • Extensive retail experience managing a large team, or in a multi-site / cluster management role
  • Experience with taking a team through change management and culture change
  • Great organisational and planning skills, and the ability to prioritise workloads to effectively meet deadlines
  • A passion for excellence in customer service and sales
  • A proven history leading high performing teams to success in a sales environment
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • A high level of strategic focus, and a strong skillset of commercial acumen
