About Base2

Base2 offers managed IT, network and security solutions with a cloud competency focused on the Microsoft ecosystem, Adobe, and other vendors, as well as certifications in Cisco, Azure, AWS, VMware, and CompTIA, among others.

About the role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Support Administrator to provide level 1 technical support to Base2 clients ensuring support requests are dealt with in a timely fashion while enhancing the customer experience.

As a Support Administrator you will be responsible for :

  • Answering Level 1 support calls, logging requests and issues within our ticketing system and working on managed service tasks.
  • Monitoring and management of the Base2 support inbox.
  • Monitoring of systems and pro-actively resolving problems, or escalation as required.
  • Managing client expectations on issues and tasks raised, own the issue, and see it through to the solution, involving others as required.
  • Maintaining a high level of documentation for the client and services supplied.
  • Performing all other duties that may reasonably be expected of a Base 2 Service Specialist.
  • Who we are looking for :

    This role will ideally suit candidates who have :

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Office applications, workstation operating systems and networking concepts preferred
  • Around 12 months experience in a Level 1 Support Administrator role.
  • A passion about delivering high level customer service.
  • A keen interest to learn and an understanding of technical terminology.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands on your time
  • Clear, accurate and tactful communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Ability to work independently and occasionally lead within a group
