Health Care Assistant Perioperative Inventory

  • Permanent, 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
  • Monday to Friday between 7 am and 5 pm
  • We are looking for an experienced and confident Health care Assistant to support the Perioperative service on a permanent, full-time basis.

    This is a role that will provide the opportunity to demonstrate your outstanding coordination skills, your ability to work autonomously and also use your initiative.

    About the Role

    The role of the Perioperative Inventory Health Care Assistant is to work as part of the team to ensure the effective provision of equipment across the Perioperative service.

    Responsibilities will include managing stock rotation and inventory management within the Sterile Consumable Room, in particular, having the right item in the right place for Just-in-Time delivery of consumables for elective surgical set-ups.

    Your contribution in this role will ensure that operations run to schedule and are well prepared so that our multi-disciplinary team are able to perform their magic to the best of their ability!

    The salary for this position is in accordance with the DHB’s / NZNO Multi Employer Collective Agreement, between $42,910 and $48,003 per annum based on relevant experience and skills.
