The key purpose of this role is to provide planning services with responsibility for effective office-based quality assurance of Gas Connections works and the day to day management of reinstatement operations within the profit centre.
Providing a support service to Managers, Supervisors and Field Staff.Key Responsibilities : Review of post construction collateral to confirm work has been completed to standard and the necessary testing has been completed.
Management of quality assurance activities in a timely fashion to meet or exceed the Customers KPI's.Raising quality issues with the applicable Supervisor and / or Field Staff for resolution.
Escalation of persistent issues and / or quality trends.Issuing, scheduling, monitoring and maintaining all reinstatement and associated works for the Gas Connections Business Unit.
Arranging traffic management for all Reinstatement work.Building and maintaining a relationship with local councils to ensure works comply.
Offering advice on reinstatement matters to colleagues and other staff within the gas divisionSupport the effective management of reinstatement subcontractors in line with Electrix policies for the gas connections business unitAuditing of work in progress, post completion and pre - startUtilisation of financial management systemsCarrying out general administration in associated systems (Codex, Siebel, excel spreadsheets, etc.
Approving and signing invoices as received.Managing, organising and maintaining work volumes to meet demands.Compiling job packages for reinstatement and civil works.
Technical Knowledge, Education and Skills Required : Gas industry qualification and / or experience is preferred.Business administration experience is desiredCompetence in relevant software and database programmes, e.
g. Word, Excel, PowerPointGood understanding of financial administration.Good understanding of contract management administration.
Sound organisation and planning skills, with special reference to the administrative and project requirements of the role.
