We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Work with the team to provide patterns to support the 'big rock' and 'smaller rock' solutions.
  • Develop people through coaching & mentoring, including DevOps & Continuous Delivery principles and techniques.
  • Participate in web and backend engineering technology architecture discussions for product development
  • Advocate for development of good practices across relevant engineering practices.
  • Grow the technical expertise of your team on performance, scalability and maintainable architecture.
  • You have experience leading, coaching, and mentoring individuals and teams.
  • You have experience as an Architect and will understand the balance required between intentional architecture and emergent design within an agile environment.
  • You are knowledgeable about a wide range of development technologies.
  • You can quickly build relationships with right people to ensure you navigate large organisations effectively.
  • You have a deep understanding of scalable systems.
  • You care about developing and growing people.
  • You preferably have large-scale engineering experience.
  • You have experience working in an agile environment, and are comfortable pushing teams to improve their ways of working
  • You are adaptable and resourceful, and you are able to collaboratively develop effective solutions to problems
  • You have experience with continuous delivery and automated testing
  • You value team success over personal success
