Wellington City, WellingtonWhat you will do We have an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Domain Architect to join our Enterprise Products and Systems (EPS) Portfolio.
The EPS Portfolio delivers the ICT Strategy and Vision set by Architecture, Policy and Design through products spanning ICT infrastructure, platforms, end user compute and deployed capabilities across all classification domains.
As one of four Domain Architects within our newly created EPS team you will define the set of products and architectural building blocks (ABBs) for the Platform Technology Tower.
The Platforms Tower, in which you will sit, delivers core platform products and systems, across all information domains, which are the foundation of the Defence Information Environment (DIE).
The products included in this tower are Database Platform, Compute and Store (Public and Private Cloud) Platform, ERP Platform, Middleware Platform, Mobile Apps and Internet of Things Platform, Strategic Test & Reference Platform, Website & Container Hosting Platform and Geospatial Platform.
You will also work closely to advise the Platform Product Manager / Owner (and other stakeholders) on the limitations, and impacts on the Platform tower relating to other domains.
What we need We are keen to hear from you if you are an experienced Domain Architect with demonstrable experience in designing, implementing and managing solutions and services in some of the platform tower's products or related areas. In particular you'll have :
You possess not only technical knowledge but also a softer skillset to listen, empathise, explain, advise, influence and negotiate, all whilst navigating complex project environments with competing stakeholder expectations.

This may be negotiable depending on experience. Please note that this role will initially be based in Petone however we are currently working through our longer-
