About the Role

The Product Account Manager is responsible for enhancing the relationship and maximising revenue from several major client accounts in Datacom’s Product space.

We’re looking for a seasoned client manager with great contacts and relationship nurturing skills to take on some of Datacom’s major accounts in this space.

What you’ll bring

  • Expert product and industry knowledge.
  • Product knowledge across major hardware and software vendors. .
  • An excellent understanding of the business requirements / IT deliverables demanded by the client(s).
  • Appreciation of the value / importance of the account.
  • Strong understanding of Account Management techniques and disciplines

  • Responsibilities

  • Planning and overseeing enterprise-level support and service activities for company products and services for a designated client or group of clients.
  • Ensuring complete customer satisfaction when dealing with their allocated accounts and the organisation
  • Conducting product demonstrations (where applicable) and coordinating the preparation of sales proposals, bids, contracts and Account Management plans

  • Managing negotiations between the organisation, the client and any third-party organisations involved.
  • Collaborating with sales and support groups to demonstrate value of support offering to client and identify opportunities for expanded support business.
