Booking Administrator Eye Department
Are you an experienced administrator who is adaptable and a quick learner? We have an exciting Booking Administrator role in our Eye Department and are on the lookout for someone to join us on a permanent basis
About the Role
This permanent position is in our Eye Department which is a very high-volume patient area. We need an experienced administrator who will provide administration support to our team, and act as the first point of contact for patients, managing phone enquiries, channelling patient enquiries and booking outpatient appointments.
It is essential that you are warm, welcoming, organised and able to remain calm under pressure at all times.
The eye department is quite process orientated and things need to happen in a particular order to ensure the patients time is not wasted.
Therefore, it is pivotal that we employ a person that is structed in their day to day work life, but can adapt when they see the situation changing and modify their approach accordingly
The salary range for this position is based on the DHB / PSA Administrative Collective Agreement S4 Scale, $52,080 and $59,759 per annum and will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
We need someone who has a few years of administration experience under their belt to succeed in this busy role. You will be the kind of person who enjoys working with people in a dynamic environment and be skilled at multi-tasking.
You must be a team player with very good communication skills, who understands and appreciates the need for attention to detail and have a proven ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.
