    Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

    Due to a time of exciting growth at Kāinga Ora within our Governance Systems team, we are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Governance Systems Team.

    The Team Leader role will be based in National office Wellington and will be responsible for building a team to support the development of quality assurance and secretariat function to oversee the stand up and management of our Leadership (Ngā Pae Tātaki) and Programme Steering Groups.

    We are looking for a dynamic governance professional to lead out the team to ensure systems and processes are in place to support the effective operation of the Leadership (Ngā Pae Tataki) and Programme Governance Groups and ensure timely and effective decision making that reflects the demands of the business providing excellent governance practices in line with the Public Sector frameworks.

  • Robust understanding of internal governance functions / processes
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging with stakeholders at a range of levels and the ability to influence without formal authority
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or extensive experience in a governance environment.
