At the heart of this is our desire for customer experience excellenceAbout the roleThe core of this role is to drive our digital procurement and provide support to Vector’s strategic priorities and high-

level outcomes framework. You’ll take the lead identifying, sourcing and securing value-for-money from external supply sources that Vector needs to fulfil its objectives.

You’ll apply a strong commercial focus to drive the digital enablement of Vector through the selection and management of strategically appointed fit-

for-purpose suppliers.Identifying risks and opportunities and develop a procurement plan to optimise Group wide expenditure across the Capex and Opex budgets will be key.

You’ll closely monitor procurement plans, report on deviations and drive / support corrective actions where necessary. You will manage our digital contractor resource capacity planning with key suppliers to ensure Vector has appropriate coverage year-

round.You’ll ensure Vector is using best practice methodologies and support the Vector business units to drive value for money across all spend.

Drive the value chain in selected categories : Maximise innovation, support the standardisation of equipment and systems and drive stakeholder awareness of current and future business opportunities.

You be able to quickly build strong relationships with legal, the Vector leadership team, key stakeholders and supplier base.

Who we are looking forYou’ll bring solid experience in a procurement role with exposure to operating within an SAP environment.

You’ll have experience running RFX processes and contract negotiation for significant supply relationships (($10 m + p.a range).

You’ll have the ability to deliver business benefits through the RFX and negotiation process with strong problem-solving capability, commercial acumen and significant communication skills.

You’ll be influencing people from a broad range of levels across business with diverse backgrounds. ICT experience would be an advantage.

You’ll also bring a sound understanding of the risk management process. You have a solid track record in performance managing the commercial or contractual aspects of supply relations either from the sourcing or sales side and understand a partnership approach to relationships either way we would welcome your application.
