Quality Advisor Bay of Plenty RegionWho are we looking for?We require an experienced and versatile Quality Advisor to join our growing team based in Mount Maunganui and deliver the good work we are known for.
The jobYou will be responsible for delivering Quality assurance and process leadership across all of our Regional contracts, with a good understanding of how health & safety feeds into this.
Liaising with the wider Fulton Hogan NZ business and all levels of management, field staff and our clients, working closely with our Health, Safety, Quality, Environment & Sustainability team and reporting directly to the Bay of Plenty HSQTES Manager, to achieve compliance and add efficiency value to the Regional business.
Key responsibilities include : Develop Construction Quality Management plans specific to Contract requirementsEnsuring ongoing compliance in regards to technical requirements and physical works.
Assist in developing ITPs and managing the review and completionSupport and management for other core quality processes and reportingRemedial and non-conformance monitoring, reporting and investigationFocussing on Good Work, Finding opportunities for improvement, developing & implementing process efficienciesAssist in all aspects of the Region’s Wellbeing, Safety, Quality, Environment and Sustainability initiatives, plans and programmesAuditing of internal HSQE processes, systems and site quality to ensure effectivenessAssist in External Audits - ACC Internal Audits, Telarc, IANZ, PAM etcThis is a role that requires strong Quality leadership, focussing on contract compliance and understanding how we can improve our practices to get a better end result.
You will live and breathe quality excellence, and have experience in actively developing and maintaining Quality Management Systems within a Construction Environment.
With your solid industry knowledge and high integrity you will have the ability to work as a team and influence and coach those around you.
You’ll use your excellent people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our subcontractor partners, clients and our people (we’re one big whanau).
And you’ll have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives.Experience and attributes; Relevant qualification in Quality and / or Civil EngineeringAt least 2-5 years’ experience working as a Quality professionalA good understanding of the Construction environment, specifications and requirementsSolid knowledge of how HSE integrates with Quality ManagementExceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trust and respect with a diverse workforce at all levels.
Strong commitment to continuous improvement and process efficiency.High Attention to detailDesirable : HSE advisory experience or knowledgeExperience in Mfiles, IMS document control, SalesforceWe’re Fulton Hogan You’ve probably seen us around.
