Entry level / Graduate Payroll Advisor

Assisting with Payroll in a high-volume environment

Full time position available in high-performing Employee Relations Team

We work with the Ministry of Health, District Health Boards and ACC among others, to support more than 40,000 people around the country.

We are committed to providing our clients with the care and support they need to live independently in their home and communities.

The Payroll Advisor will be fully trained to follow legislative and company requirements in the processing of the payroll requirements of a workforce of over 6,000 staff across 139 payrolls in a medium sized team.

The Payroll Advisor will assist the Payroll team to respond to staff with payroll queries and work effectively within the team in a high-volume processing environment.

We are looking for a new grad (or someone who is partially through their studies) who will share our dedication to caring for our community.

The successful candidate will have :

Knowledge and experience with, or a willingness to learn payroll systems

An understanding or be willing to learn the relevant legislation

Excellent relationship building and customer service skills

Highly organised and methodical work habits with excellent time management skills

Planning ability

A commitment to achieving excellent outcomes in a busy team environment

Great analytical skills

Strong data entry skills
