We are currently seeking a Documentation Manager to join our Honeywell Building Solutions Business Unit team for a crucial project based in Waikeria.

Reporting to the Project Director, your focus will be to prepare both written and on-line documentation that comprehensively describes and explains project products and systems to a range of stakeholders.

You role will also assist with the productionanddelivery oftechnical documentationto customer.

This is a part-time fixed-term contract role, at-least for 12 mons with a great potential for the contract to extend.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Documentation Creation : Determine the documents, reports and information that are required to be produced as part of a project delivering systems or products to a customer.
  • Understand the audience of the documentation and work with engineering subject matter experts to produce clear, concise documents that are readily understood by technical and non technical audiences.
  • Prepare reports and / or report template on progress of technical matters, including documentation as required by projects.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Team to keep the documentation work in line with the project schedules.
  • Ongoing liaison / feedback with development teams regarding any issues identified with documentation.
  • Key Experience & Capabilities :

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-4 years of experience in creating printed and on-line documentation for a wide variety of software applications
  • Proven experience creating a logical and consistent structure for documentation materials.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and processes in written form, without ambiguity and including appropriate examples and illustrations
  • Ability to learn new skills and be adaptable to new technologies
  • Strong customer focus mindset and ability to work independently
