We are looking for an organised and flexible person to fill casual vacancies for staff on leave or at short notice covering illness.
In this position you will be supporting people receiving hospital level, rest home level and dementia level support.
You will be working on a rotating roster of 7 days per fortnight. The shift times vary from day to day but are a mix of 7.
30am to 3pm, 9.30am to 12.30pm and 4pm to 9pm.
We also have casual caregiver positions available. If you have the flexibility to cover shifts on short notice for staff illness or leave.
In these positions you will be supporting people receiving hospital level, rest home level and dementia level support.
This role would suit someone with experience and who has the ability and willingness to be able to work across the three different units (Hospital, Resthome & Dementia) as the need arises.
The ideal applicant will have experience in an aged care environment, however not essential as full training will be provided.
An Enliven home, Iona has 79 residents who are supported at hospital and rest home level of care.
It’s a home integral to the community and 8 of our Presbyterian Support Otago Enliven homes have 4 year certification. That is testament to the quality of our systems, processes, living and working environments and especially our staff.
As a major provider of health & social services to the people of Otago, PSO employs over 700 people, supported by over 500 volunteers.
