Are you a Newborn Hearing Screener or looking for an opportunity to join the Health Sector? The Audiology team at Midcentral DHB is on the look-out for a driven Newborn Hearing Screener to provide screening services for the newborn infants in the Maternity Ward, Neonatal Unit or outpatient clinics.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Health Sector. It is an entry level role no experience required as full training and support will be provided.
This role includes communicating and engaging with parents, handling their newborn baby, performing the screen, giving the results to parents, recording, and collecting data and liaising with professionals.
This is a part time (0.6 FTE, 24 hours per week) permanent role to join our team in Palmerston North. The 24 hours will be spread across the week to include Fridays (8 hours) and Saturday mornings (4 hours).
The remaining hours will be flexible.
