Te Waka Anga Mua are the strong Māori strategic outcomes and relationships function that sets the path for Council. Together we need to ensure that the Council and Māori are set up for the future.
The role of the Programme Specialist within Te Waka Anga Mua will be to work collaboratively across Council implementing a programme management approach across the large and complex Māori Outcomes Portfolio.
You will provide a clear line of sight for the General Manager, Māori Outcomes and Relationships across the entire portfolio, develop and implement appropriate programme management, best practice methodologies, and develop partnerships with central and local governments to achieve outcomes for Māori.
He kōrero mōu : About youTo be successful, you will be an innovative, savvy Programme Specialist who has experience operating in a political environment and coordinating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will have extensive experience in project coordination experience, excellent knowledge of programme and project management methodologies and experience in producing effective communications, status reports and other project artefacts.
You will have the ability to negotiate and influence across a wide range of stakeholders, excellent organisational skills along with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines and a highly developed personal resilience with the ability to lead, adapt and deliver within a constantly shifting environment.
An understanding of te ao Māori is highly desirable, or a willingness to learn and upskill.Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou : What we offerIf you are an adept relationship builder, effective at communicating with a range of different groups and individuals, confident navigating complex environments and hold a genuine interest in advancing Māori interests within Tāmaki Makaurau, this is the role you are looking for.
