Reporting to Group General Manager our client is seeking an experienced technical sales specialist to lead the new water tank division’s sales activities for the commercial building sector customers.
You will co-create and implement the sales plan for this division of REL Group, providing both potable and non-potable liquid storage solutions through the delivery of large scale steel storage projects nationwide.
You will identify customers, build relationships and deliver an optimal customer experience. Analysing market trends and activity will be required, as will your contribution towards strategic planning and working collaboratively across the REL Group to provide seamless project delivery.
Your Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate success in technical sales and relationship development ideally within the commercial building services or related sector.
Knowledge of New Zealand standards in relation to water and fire suppression tanks and a relevant qualification are both desirable, but of greater importance is your ability to develop strong commercial sales relationships, manage resources and quality outcomes, project plan and communicate effectively.
You will be skilled in professionally responding to tenders and in negotiation. Experience supplying to the government sector and a familiarity with government procurement rules, will also be beneficial.
This is a new national centred role, with a particular focus on the Tauranga, Auckland and Hamilton regions.
