We are currently looking for assistant gardeners to join our team at the west Auckland Depot. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining vegetation on streets, acceess ways, cycleways and a wide range of park and street gardens.
You will be performing several tasks like weed eating, annual bedding, hedge trimming, weed control with herbicide spray, planting, mulching and general garden maintenance.
He kōrero mōu : About youYour will be an Enthusiastic person who enjoys outdoor work and can adapt to all weathers. Previous work experience in gardening or related field would be handy however, we will be keen to look at people with the right attitude to learn and grow their skills.
Ability to work in a team and comply with health and safety requirements will be key to your success. Stamina with a good level of fitness and agility is required.
