Policy Adviser (Health) Geneva
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role This Policy Adviser position is a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of New Zealand's health diplomacy interests with a focus on the COVID-19 response and strengthening the international system's future pandemic preparedness and response.
You'll oversee New Zealand's engagement with the WHO and other key organistions responding to COVID-19 such as the COVAX Facility and Gavi in Geneva (working closely with New Zealand teams in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Ministry of Health and Ministry of Primary Industries in Wellington).
You'll provide insights on trends and important developments in areas of interest and relevance to New Zealand's health policy priorities.
This includes developing and maintaining complex relationships with Member States and international agencies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for their own relocation to Geneva but the Permanent Mission will assist with obtaining a legitimation card, an authorization to work for a diplomatic mission in Switzerland.
