Are you Desktop specialist with experience in design, roll-out and support of Window’s based PC’s and laptops? Can you create Standard Operating Environments and implement them in large organizations?

We are looking for an to join our team in where you will likely work with one customer, understand their environment, and work with them on projects and updates around desktop operating system and applications.

Overall this a varied role that will touch on many of Fujitsu’s solutions in Desktop Management and Application Packaging, but will focus on the design and deployment of an SOE environment through the use of tools like SCCM and MDT.

Our current SOE Solutions have been deployed in New Zealand & Australia to support Airlines, Government Organisations, Energy Providers, Local Authorities and other enterprise organisations.

In this role you will work to identify trends and abnormalities in the kinds of everyday BAU support requests associated with the desktop environment, and there will also be a healthy project component.

We will expect you to assume ownership of issues for our customers, and we’re primarily interested in talking to people who can demonstrate that they’ve done that as part of a former role.

In order to enjoy satisfaction in this role, we envisage you will need to have :

  • Four or more years' experience in Desktop or Systems Engineering, Vendor / Service Provider experience preferable, one to two of which have been in the SOE space.
  • A tertiary qualification and certifications to a suitable level for a position like this
  • Hands-on experience with SCCM, Active Directory & Group Policy Management
  • Experienced with MDT from a Design, Deployment & Management perspective
  • Beneficial but not necessary : Powershell scripting and Server Management experience
