Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
The Team Leader Investment Planning provides leadership to the core team that determines the appropriate investment response for Kāinga Ora based on local council, iwi, community, Kāinga Ora asset quality and market requirements.
There are 9 team members that reports to this role. The Team Leader plays a lead role in the development of Regional Investment Plans (RIPs), oversees delivery plans for the area and ensures that the team are meeting targets to achieve the desired outcomes of communities, the outputs set out in the Regional Plans and produce a desirable outcome for Kāinga Ora portfolio.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with other Place-based planning leads and the Strategy, Finance and Policy Group to develop regional investment plans, based on an understanding of the market, and ensure that at a national level the plans support the strategic direction as agreed by the Board and that they are aligned to approved budgets.
Preferably based in Wellington or Palmerston North but we are open to have this role based anywhere in Central NZ for the right candidate.
The successful candidate must be able to work out of their regular office and travel the breath of the Place-based Central region regularly.
The Team Leader role is newly established and has been setup to support the Manager Investment and Planning in leading the Investment and Planning team.
