    About the opportunity

    This is a 5-month fixed term contract in a full- time capacity based in our Fanshawe Street offices. As part of our Global Supply Chain, you’ll be working closely with our internal Fonterra Brands in different markets, managing their order book to ensure world-class customer experience.

    As our business automates many of our Supply Chain ordering processes, this role will trouble shoot and problem solve any supply chain issues that are out of the box.

    Some of the things you will be doing are :

  • Raising sales orders off Purchase Orders from Customer, and manage all necessary transactions in SAP software environment
  • Daily interaction with Customers and relevant stakeholders within Fonterra
  • Provide updates to Customers on order status and any changes in delivery dates and quantity and resolve any pricing issues.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will be working across the holiday season, however, will get all statutory holidays off. This is a great opportunity to hit the ground running and demonstrate to the business your versatility, so that you can position yourself for any other internal roles.

    About you

    Being a short-term contract, you’ll need to be quick on your feet, with the ability to learn new information and have enough gusto to use your own initiative when required.

    Central to our Supply Chain process, you’ll be a strong communicator and able to problem solve. Other things that will hold you in good stead are :

  • Previous track record in Customer service and order book management
  • Experience in Supply Chain Operations or related areas (like Sales Operations or Freight Forwarding) is desirable
  • Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Office 365 and Excel is a plus
  • Thoroughness, attention to detail, commitment to learn and effective teamwork
  • Agility and ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
