The opportunity : The Employee Lifecycle and Automation Team leaders leads the team that engineers, develops and administers platforms that support the employee lifecycle.
Designing, engineering, developing and supporting technical software solutions for the employee experience division which in turns supports all MYOB staff.
The key aspect to this role is to optimise and streamline the workflow in order to provide an exceptional employee experience.
What's involved in the gig : Develop, refine and extend build, monitoring, deployment and provisioning systems and tools to ensure seamless build, provisioning, deployment and monitoring of cloud and on-premise services and components.
Leverage and enhance the use of our HRIS Cornerstone and payroll platform Payglobal.Evangelise and lead the team to achieve continuous delivery of valuable software by continuously improving the build and deployment systems.
Analyse and decompose complicated software systems and design strategies and approaches to automatically deploy, maintain and monitor these systems.
Ensure appropriate backup and system redundancy solutions are in-place.Define and implement appropriate failover and disaster recover procedures and processes.
Provide timely and elegant communication to key stakeholders.Define, maintain and adhere to planning, development and testing processes and policies that are consistent with MYOB’s agile development model and product development lifecycle leading to successful release and iteration planning and execution.
Plan, manage and adhere to MYOB’s security policies and processes to ensure cloud services and components are highly secure and monitored for security breaches.
The experience we're after : 3+ years’ experience as a Developer working in an agile team environment1+ years experience in team and crew leadership and mentoringUnderstanding and experience with Web Development.
Experience and understanding of C# for MVC applicationsExperience using build pipeline and source control tools like Buildkite and Git or similar.
Understanding and experience of application platforms that support employment lifecycle including HRIS and or Payroll.Demonstrable involvement or engagement with the software engineering and development operations communitySo it is over to you, do you want to Love Your Work?
