The Mental Health and Addictions (MH&A) Needs Assessor Service Coordinator (NASC) clinician is employed to co-ordinate the appropriate recovery focussed supports required to enable Mental Health and Addiction service users to achieve maximum independence and participate fully in society in accordance with their abilities, resources and goals.
The role is primarily focused on adults and ensuring that those eligible have a comprehensive assessment of their support needs and that support services are provided in an individualised, responsive and timely manner.
