    The challenge for the Sustainability team is to understand the dynamic and multifaceted nature of our business, whilst creating a future vision that is compatible to Auckland's sustainability

    The role :

    The role is exciting and relevant we need someone to develop effective sustainability interventions, provide great advice, and work with teams across the business to improve sustainability outcomes.

    We will be looking for best practice initiatives and experience in policy and practice.

    We need :

  • Sound technical experience in the sustainability field - for example in sustainable procurement approaches or carbon accounting - related to transport and / or similar capital-intensive industries or corporates
  • The ability to lead smaller projects and support development of technical expertise into practical initiatives and influential advice
  • Sound communication skills to be able to provide high quality and timely strategic sustainability advice.
  • Initiative and influencing skills and the ability to work with a range of technical disciples across a business like AT
  • Ideally a good understanding and knowledge of transport planning and systems, council practices and constraints in Auckland or the desire and capability to learn this content.
