We are currently seeking expressions of interest for roles that will help to deliver major NZ infrastructure projects.
TheProjectDesign ManagerisresponsibletotheProjectDirectorand District Engineering LeaderbyLeading the Design development through to finalisation during the ECI Early Contractor Involvement stage and further having input / involvement into engineering delivery and technical success of their assigned projects.
This requires defining the detailed project scope requirements through review of technical documentation and coordination with internal and external project stakeholders, developing and documenting the design and validating this with the project stakeholders, coordinatingworkpackagesforlocalandremoteprojectteammembersandassistingwith an integrated commissioning process.
Additionally, they ensure that engineering deliverables are cost effective by using low cost remote engineering services and driving local productivity and processes compliance to : standardization, process improvement, training, adoption and utilization of standard tools and initiatives.
They are to contribute toengineeringadvancementbypursuingcontinuedprofessionaldevelopmentandadoption of new initiatives within the engineeringbusiness.
A project based role with requirement to be mobile / travel as required.
