The role

HEB Construction have a number of exciting projects on the horizon which has created an opportunity for a Project Engineer to work within our Selwyn Maintenance Contract.

If you think you are ready for a new challenge and have experience working on road maintenance and general civil projects, then we have the job for you!

You'll enjoy working with our experienced team who will highly value your extensive project skills, in particular your ability to bring technical expertise to each project.

Your skills have been honed over the years and you have contributed to projects being delivered on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard.

Tenacious by nature you've tackled some really challenging projects with lots of red tape and many stakeholders who have tested your patience - you always come out on top!

Your core responsibilities will include :

supporting the progress of the project

managing and motivating staff

successfully developing strong client relationships

supervising Sub-Contractors

supporting overall contract programme

Your skills and experience;

civil Engineering tertiary level qualification or equivalent experience

solid experience in Civil Engineering / project work

Keys to your success in the role will also include :

4 / 5 years' experience in junior / mid-level project engineering roles

strong personal resilience and ability to work in a fast moving and continually changing environment

a track record of successfully working with teams across a number of areas or functions
