    Digital Channels is a key division within Fiserv’s global business. We specialize in a variety of award-winning technology solutions to enhance the customer’s banking experience over multiple digital channels.

    Auckland is the home of Fiserv’s signature mobile banking solution Mobiliti used by more than 2,000 financial institutions and banks worldwide.

    About the Opportunity :

    Our Digital Channels Enterprise Architecture team is responsible for the overall technical direction for all Digital Channels products.

    The product Architect is aligned with Product Management and is accountable for providing technical leadership to project-wide teams, ownership of non-functional requirements, and acts as a technical consultant to both the development and product teams.

    As a result of the addition of several new scrums in Auckland, we are seeking an Enterprise Architect with strong technical vision to join the team.

    In this role you’ll be a key stakeholder to the product lifecycle, from governance to delivery. You’ll be responsible for defining the overall solution architecture, identifying technical risks, and the mitigating those risks.

    You’ll also be utilising microservices to achieve increasingly modular UIs.

    Your responsibilities include :

  • Set the strategic direction of the product as it relates to the mobile architecture, and the relating mobile applications.
  • Provide direction and support to Mobile Team Leads and Developers.
  • Evolve the mobile architectural roadmap via the collaborate with both internal teams and external teams to understand key challenges with mobile activities, and the monitoring of industry developments and trends.
  • Collaborate with key product stakeholders , to drive continuous improvement in the product technologies, in accordance with the mobile roadmap.
  • Mentor others on best practices in the mobile domain, and ensure standards are maintained.
  • Provide training and support to internal customers. Measure the impact of changes to clients.
  • Continual self-development in the form of reading, training and / or conferences.
  • Understand and measure the trade-offs between technology shifts and business needs.
  • To be successful in this role you will bring :

  • Proven practical experience with mobile design and development, including iOS, Android and hybrid architectures (React Native, Flutter).
  • Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Objective C, Swift, Java, Kotlin and JavaScript.
  • A working knowledge and understanding of Apple and Google services, such as the Apple Developer Programs, iTunes Connect, Google Play and push notifications services such as APNS and GCM.
  • Solid understand of integrations technologies such as JSON, REST, Microservices, etc and able to work with Product Architects to ensure mobile concerns are met.
  • Working knowledge of the day-to-day practicalities of Software Development Lifecycles such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
  • Extensive experience supporting software development, including some of that time in developing mobile solutions with rigorous quality, maintainability and reliability requirements
