We are looking for a passionate and engaging leader who will lead the development of Beca’s climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies and planning in New Zealand and the Pacific.

As a passionate and engaging leader, you will be the face of developing Beca’s climate change adaptation and disaster risk management strategies and planning in New Zealand and the Pacific.

This is a newly created role, and you will have the opportunity to be a part of leading the development of our strategy and make this role your own.

We are deeply committed to making a difference in the communities and environments we serve, and this new role will be at the forefront of our future strategy.

From an overall perspective, you will be responsible for :

  • Leading the development, implementation and continuation of a climate risk & disaster risk resilience market strategy.
  • Building and maintaining identified and targeted key relationships across a range of key agencies (government level) and stakeholders including but not limited to relevant national agencies and Ministries.
  • Position Beca in this market and work collaboratively with other relevant client relationships and market leaders.
  • You will work closely with Beca’s industry-leading sustainability and climate practitioners across Beca an award-winning team recognised as the winner of the Deloitte Top 200 Sustainable Business Leadership award.

    You are a relationship builder who initiates, manages, and develops strategic and operational relationships both externally with key clients and internally.

    You will have the natural ability to work with and influence a wide group of people across all levels of organisations and be someone who embraces challenges, promotes innovation and leads with a mindset of continual improvement.
