There is currently an opportunity to join their busy engineering team as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
In their team they have a mix of mechanical and electrical engineers performing both breakdown and preventative maintenance tasks within their plant.
The plant is a mix of new and some older technology so we're ideally looking for someone who is a good allrounder with solid fitting experience but also the problem solving and fault diagnosis skills to deal with modern automated equipment.
General fitting experience such as removing and fitting bearing, belts, chains and gearboxes is a must. You will also need to be able to weld (MIG / Arc) and ideally be capable with operating lathe and mill.
You'll get to work on a real variety of systems including a lot of pneumatics and hydraulics.

They operate a shift pattern that alternates between earlies and afternoons with the expectation that you will be available to work every second Saturday (OT), whilst they are running 6 days a week.
There isn't the expectation that you will work overtime during the week.
