  • We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced People and Culture Manager to join our NZ owned and operated, award winning and fast paced fashion retail business.

    This role is a part of the Senior Leadership Team, reports directly to the Owner / Managing Director and is a trusted advisor and coach to our Leaders across the business.

    Our team of 450+ people across 50+ locations in New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia is made up of passionate and talented high performers.

    You'll come to us with :

  • A broad generalist HR skillset and confidence across all stages of the employee life cycle
  • Leadership experience and outstanding communication skills
  • A passion for creating memorable experiences for people and building the capability of those around you
  • Natural ability to build effective relationships and influence others
  • Knowledge of current HR trends and passion for keeping up to date with these
  • Love of and demonstrated ability for managing multiple projects, juggling priorities and working under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated knowledge in developing and managing policies and procedures
  • Ideally, you'll also have implemented a HR Tech system into a retail (or similar) business, experience in rem & ben (including job evaluation) and have successfully created and implemented a graduate programme recruitment hub (or similar)
  • The role will be responsible for :

  • Driving our People strategy business-wide
  • Proactive partnering with Leaders within the business
  • Leading and developing a team of 4
  • Creating, delivering and driving memorable engagement initiatives
  • Managing all Internal Communications
  • Event Management - 6 conferences per year, plus regular celebratory events for our people
  • Process and continuous improvement
  • Projects - there are some exciting ones on the horizon!
