Papakura Joinery is a well-established, family business that has built a reputation for supplying high quality joinery to the NZ market for over 60 years.

    As our Sales Rep, you will be supporting our timber mouldings division, known as NZ Timber Profiles, which manufacture and supply timber mouldings including skirting boards, architraves and weatherboards.

    You will be responsible for growing and servicing our client base who are primarily based in Auckland, but will be required to travel as far as Northland and the Bay of Plenty, so you must enjoy being out on the road! You will be looking for every opportunity to showcase our products as well as ensure accurate paperwork and follow up your work is not finished once the quote has been signed! It is essential that you are a great listener and big picture thinker, as you will provide a unique solution for each client.

    Our clients include some of NZ's top builders and architects so if you're familiar with these industries that is a real bonus.

    Great training and technical support is on hand within our friendly team.

    To be successful in this role, you will :

  • A passion for sales, with a keen eye for seeing opportunities to grow
  • Have an energetic, down-to-earth and friendly personality with the ability to interact with a range of clients, merchants and builders
  • Be clearly organised and able to stick to a schedule
  • Have fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Have the ability to build strong, effective relationships
  • Have experience working autonomously and great time management skills
  • Have the ability to provide expert product support and advice to clients
  • Be computer and tech savvy
  • Have a creative flair and an eye for detail
  • Have a great attitude, sense of humour and plenty of drive
