Te Kaiurungi About the role

We're looking for talented Senior Technical Specialist to join our Enterprise Services domain and progress the design, build and implementation of Knowledge technology solutions that will deliver value and achieve our stakeholder and business goals.

Day to day you will :

Work closely with the Product Manager, Product Owner and the wider team in refining the backlog, researching systems, user and environment aspects of any development.

Consult with business and technical teams on integration design and collaborate with solution architects on design decisions.

Build, modify and maintain system integrations within and beyond the architecture of the Knowledge system and middleware, ensuring integrations function as expected through unit, functional, data and regression testing.

Provide support for incident management, integration monitoring and alerting to ensure service levels are maintained.

Perform break / fix support and regression testing and support the inbound / outbound interfaces to the system and middleware.

Location- this role can be based in Auckland or Wellington (with flexibility to work from home)

Ō Pūkenga About you

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Specialist or Engineer with proven Integrations experience, ideally in ServiceNow / Knowledge Systems (5 + years).

You'll have excellent communication skills and a passion for continuously improving features that will add value to the product or business process.

You'll also bring experience in :

JavaScript, good understanding of API and microservice design patterns

Working with Cloud technologies & an understanding on how cloud networking works and core differences from traditional networks.

Operational monitoring and operational support using tool such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Jira

Creating solution designs and collaborating with internal / external colleagues to final design and beyond.
