About us :

AA Money is an exciting joint venture between the New Zealand Automobile Association ("the AA") and Suncorp Group. It was designed to expand each organisation's brand and product offering in vehicle and personal lending.

This business will provide current and potential AA members with simple, transparent and trusted money solutions under the AA Money brand.

The new business will be here to help New Zealanders look after their financial well-being and sort their money needs, with an initial focus on motor vehicle lending.

The team are focussed on delivering exceptional experience and optimal outcomes to our customers to build on AA's trusted expertise in the vehicle ownership journey and current finance options.

The role :

Working within the Lending team, you will be provide exceptional customer experiences and support applicants through the first stage of their borrowing process.

As the Lending Specialist, you will be providing relationship-based service experience, assessing customer applications, making sound judgement on lending decisions and continuously looking for opportunities to improve AA Money's efficiency and customer experience.

To be successful you will need to have :

Demonstrated ability to understand customer wants and needs and to fulfill them

Previous customer service / sales experience (lending experience in a banking or finance company would be an asset but not required for the right customer focussed individual)

Highly developed verbal and written communication skills

Driven and focused to set targets and achieve results

Adept at building great working relationships with staff and internal stakeholders to achieve common goals

Good judgement in making quality decisions affecting multiple stakeholders in a timely manner
