Lead Unreal Developer

Role : Hashbane Interactive is looking for a Senior Lead Programmer for our growing programming team. As the senior lead programmer, you will help hire, lead and support our programmers and make sure they have everything they need to function to their best potential.
As your team will continue to grow, you will also hire, mentor and coach specialized programming team leads that will report to you.
You should be an experienced game developer with strong programming and communication skills. You will report to and work with the Creative Director and be a major factor in realizing our technical vision.

Able to forge strong morale and esprit de corps throughout the development team. There are many opportunities for you to have a big impact on the products we’ll be making as well as the overall direction of the company.
Skills :
Adhere to and ensure programming best practices and standards for your development team
Assist in the recruitment of programmers
Project planning and resource allocation in collaboration with the directors
Day to day leadership and mentorship of your development team
Ensure that all processes are in place for the development team to thrive
A propensity to improve systems and processes
Create strong technical documentation
Problem-solving and open-minded with a desire to build and grow a well-functioning team
A structured mindset for planning and following up team progress
Very strong collaboration and communication skills
Experience :
Highly competent in Unreal Engine 4 / 5 and C++
5+ years of lead programmer experience
5+ years of professional game programming experience
Shipped multiple AAA titles in either a lead or senior role
Expert knowledge of the entire game development pipeline
Experience with agile or scrum development methods
Experience using source control software
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
Advantageous :
Affinity for dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures
Love multiple game genres and play often
