Our Role

The Project Manager - Homestar is a dedicated resource reporting to the Manager Carbon Neutral Housing. The Project Manager works with various stakeholders to implement the Homestar transition project.

The Project Manager will primarily be responsible for working with the Homestar transition team and other key stakeholders to deliver the Homestar transition project successfully.

This includes ensuring timeframes are met, tracking work streams and risk mitigation.

This high profile programme will require regular reporting and monitoring for outcomes, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

As the Homestar transition project will operate alongside other work programmes, this role will need to work closely with key stakeholders to gain an understanding of other project connections and successful implementation impacts.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring

  • Contributeto the successful implementation of the Homestar transition project by proactively leading the planning and delivery of the required key work streams.
  • Provideregular monitoring and reporting on the progress and escalations against milestones of the project to the Manager Carbon Neutral Housing.
  • Proactively identifyand manage risk and issues, complaints and stakeholder queries within agreed processes and timelines.
  • Provide guidancewithin the team to ensure the effective management of the project, including liaison with Homestar transition team regarding work stream / tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders includingQuality Assurance Design / Construction, Urban Design, Delivery Teams and National Services.
  • Ensuring transparency and auditability of the project by maintainingefficient and accurate record keeping
  • Contribute to findingefficiencies and improvements in the project activities, including regular reviews of the project.
  • Gather learnings throughout the project and continually contribute recommendations toimprove processes, procedures and tools to support project delivery.
  • This may include conducting lessons learned workshops with relevant stakeholders before providing a recommendation to the Manager Carbon Neutral Housing Team

  • Contribute to a high performing teamand ensure knowledge and expertise is shared within and across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with our Health, Safety and Security Policyand ensure active and engaged commitment is given to all areas of responsibility identified in the Health, Safety and Security Policy.
