As Head of PMX, you will be responsible for developing strategies, leading implementation and overseeing delivery of Publicis Groupe solutions as defined below :
Precision : Publicis’ data-driven, technology-enabled practice.
APEX is an innovative and disruptive investment solution designed to create unique opportunities that deliver tangible business benefits for Publicis clients.
Partnerships are developed globally, regionally and locally with selected key vendors in order to provide unique, innovative, and ultimately functional, benefits for our Clients.
We structure our Partnerships to promote true collaboration and best in class work across our Agencies.
Trading : Oversee marketplace negotiation with all partners on behalf of our portfolio of clients.
New Business : Active participation in new business pitches, client retention plans and general point of escalation for all existing clients within investment.
Lead creative thinking, forward-looking approach to advance client investment strategies which match shifting consumer behaviors and marketplace fragmentation.
Build and refine competitive pricing offers and commercial models to deliver new and improved billings to Publicis.
You will need to clearly articulate our solutions to both Clients, Agencies, and vendors to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
You will also need to build and maintain strong relationships with the local market Agency, brand investment directors and business unit leaders, as well as with the ANZ PMX leadership team.
You have a broad understanding of the media buying landscape and a strong background in digital advertising and a consultative approach to the markets and marketers.
Articulate a clear vision and strategy for PMX in NZ under the ANZ PMX framework
Directly manage core team of PMX specialist area leaders
Revenue growth, driven by the core functions and solutions within PMX
Growth and advancement of the Precision offering
Fulfill global and regional and ANZ initiatives on behalf of clients and partners
Use media investment as a tool to cross-sell and up-sell various Groupe-wide initiatives and offerings to enhance client performance
Forge into expanding trading areas : addressable media delivery, application of our Epsilon data offering across more media, migrating media plans toward consumer behaviors
Growth and advancement of the APEX offering, including guaranteed outcome growth, content financing models, corporate trade consultancy
Successfully implement and deliver best in class partnerships with major media partners
Identify and develop the products and services to accelerate PMX capability
Operational Excellence / initiatives : eg, GDD (globally distributed delivery), etc.
Ensure a trusted, sustainable, fair trading environment with partners as a steward of both client and Publicis funds.
Regular reporting and tracking of progress across core functions.
Management of wider PMX team, and development of their skillset and capabilities.
Act as Spokesperson with major clients to elevate the perception and profile of PMX.
Drive the profile of PMX through thought leadership and opinion in local trade press.

Use a sales-focused mindset to seek opportunities for growth with clients, partners and individuals within the team. Experience running a media buying division at an agency, large client media team within a marketing organization, or sales operation.
The PMX lead must be able to balance achieving brilliant basics on the execution of our current products while also creating and bringing to market new offerings.
Experience with complete P&L oversight is essential.
