Job Description

We are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Area Sales Manager in the Power Tools division.

This is a permanent, full-time role and will be based at our Head Office in East Tamaki, New Zealand.

Position responsibilities will include :

  • Analysing customer potentials and allocating resources to maximise sales in the allocated Sales Territory and achieve the set quantitative and qualitative targets.
  • Developing an optimised customer call cycle in line with objectives, dealer potential and business plans.
  • Maintaining all customer data which includes customer contracts, call cycle, dealer potential and share of wallet, dealer classification, and point of sale and call history.
  • Building strong external and internal relationships to facilitate the development of profitable sales growth and sustainable businesses.
  • Providing technical product advice and consultative business advice through monthly reviews and general support with a can do attitude.
  • Consistently presenting Bosch values and Power Tools Brand attributes in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Qualifications

    The successful applicant will be results oriented, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, be a team player and have excellent organisational and communications skills.

    You should be able to demonstrate the following :

  • Minimum Year 12 education
  • A degree qualification in Business or similar is highly regarded
  • Proven successful track record in Sales, Planning, Sales & Negotiation and Presentation Skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of the Power Tools, Trades or Hardware industry is highly regarded
  • Frequent domestic travels expected due to size of sales territory
  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License
