With a large growth in projects on the horizon it couldn't be a better time to join our team. We have an opportunity for a Junior Project Manager to join the team to manage a number of exciting projects within the region.

Our team is currently working on numerous projects and programmes across the water sector. We have a solid client base in New Zealand including long term contracts and we are well connected to many other locations through our established relationships, expertise in project funding, technical capabilities, and broad company reach.

We are actively growing our team and developing technical capabilities by expanding our services and creating great leadership and career building opportunities for our employees.

You will be joining a team of passionate individuals, many of them leaders in their field, who are also the owners of our business.

This role will ideally be located in either in Wellington, Hawkes Bay or Palmerston North, but other locations where GHD has an office can also be considered (Auckland & Christchurch).

Working within our experienced group, this position offers a great variety of projects and will see you involved in

  • Developing your project management career
  • Deliver projects across the group and across New Zealand
  • Liaising with and management of relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Building client relationships and conducting business development activities, including preparation of proposals and bids
  • Working closely with project teams, clients and contractor groups to ensure project requirements are met
  • What you will bring to the team

  • 2 years+ experience as a project manager or project management assistant
  • Ability to work in a team,
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Can do attitude towards your work
