The Water Treatment Sales and Service Leader plays a pivotal role at the interface between our valued customers and tailored solutions our company has to offer with energy efficiency, system improvement, equipment longevity, water savings and a health and safety focus as the main drivers.

Reporting to the Water Treatment Sales & Service Manager, the primary focus of this role is to grow sales and increase current customer base, provide water treatment services to existing customers, offer technical support on water treatment as required specialising in boilers, cooling towers and closed loop systems, as well as understanding and utilizing our mechanical products and services.

  • To be successful in this role you will need to have;
  • Tertiary qualifications in related fields such as engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, science, environmental, boiler-making or trade qualifications.
  • Proven sales record (minimum 3 years)
  • Experience in water treatment is a bonus
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude via education standards, hobbies and / or work experience.
  • Ability to remain current in all technical, legislative and compliance requirements of the role.
  • Appropriate business presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written English language and demonstrated skills in MS Office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Maintain a current drivers licence
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Cooperative and proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritise work and follow up
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Your key responsibilities will include :

  • Grow sales of Spirax Sarco?s Water Treatment Products by increasing our market share. Prepare a sound business plan for the area and actively review / manage progress
  • Act as a leader of the business, guide, mentor, influence positively to strive excellence in the business.
  • Provide technical support to our existing customer base with respect to all water treatment requirements.
  • Offering accurate treatment recommendations and / or making adjustments to the treatment program as required.
  • Maintain continuous, clear and multi-level contact with customers with regard to on-going water treatment programs, problematic areas and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals for up-grade business into our existing customer base, negotiate contracts with an energy efficiency, system improvement, equipment longevity and health and safety focus.
  • Ability to use technology based productivity & data mining tools.
  • Work as a team member toward a team goal.
