Our work in the Legal team is varied and exciting, and includes public and administrative law, corporate governance, contract and commercial law, policy and legislation, intellectual property, litigation, and Treaty of Waitangi related issues.

As well as strong internal relationships, we work closely with Crown entities and other arts, culture, heritage and sports agencies.

Key responsibilities include :

  • legal opinions
  • drafting and reviewing contracts
  • applications to the Māori Land Court throughout New Zealand relating to newly found taonga tūturu
  • advice on the development of policy and legislation.
