About the opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager (GM), the Production Planner takes accountability in planning and coordinating the production of all Southern Packers’ products to a high standard, constantly focusing on continuous improvement and increased productivity.

This exceptional opportunity will suit an experienced production or plant planner who enjoys working and coordinating with others to ensure optimal results. Sound like you?
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in production / plant planning, preferably in a packhouse or food manufacturing environment.
Along with your experience in production scheduling and inventory control, you will also have proficient computing skills, especially in Excel.
Your excellent communication skills will enable you to manage the needs of multiple stakeholders.
You will have a down to earth, approachable style and will know how to make things happen. You will be able to demonstrate your capability through succcessful implementation of process improvements and your ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
