Monday to Sunday - 3 : 30pm to 9pm (7 days on, 7 days off)
A part time opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, motivated and professional individual who enjoys dealing with people on a daily basis to join our team in Ward 34 North General Surgery at Middlemore Hospital.
The General Surgical Department works with a commitment to providing a high standard of professional and innovative practice to our community and strives to improve patient outcomes.
The Ward Clerk works alongside all members of the multidisciplinary team as well as with patients and families and this position is integral to the smooth running of the ward.
Your main responsibilities will be to provide customer service, efficient administration, clerical and reception support.
In addition you would need to have a natural empathy towards patients and visitors the ability to build and maintain key working relationships, excellent organisational and communication skills.
The ability to think on your feet and multi-task in this fast paced and challenging environment is essential. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who enjoys working in a supportive team environment.
