TECHNICAL CONSULTANT BASE24-EPS

The Role or What You’ll Do
As a Technical Consultant of the BASE24-eps solution within our Professional Services team, you will be recognised as a technical expert in deployment and engineering activities of the BASE24-eps solution.
You will have solid experience working with Retail Payment solutions and expertise in BASE24 Classic, BASE24-eps and UP Framework that includes ISO20022 messaging.
The role is client-facing requiring excellent customer skills with proven verbal and written communications. You will be at the forefront of our key client providing first class delivery services in accordance with customer expectations and contractual agreements.
What You Need to Succeed
Implementation, configuration, and technical support experience of a payment / switch processing solution and associated core banking interfaces or similar.
Experience in high availability payment processing and associated non-functional requirements.
BASE24-eps and UP Framework component experience, proven UPF toolkit experience.
Demonstrate solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with High Availability Payment solutions.
Experience in development with C++ and Java.
Knowledge of payment processing.
Proven payment scheme certification skills.
Hands on experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL
Groovy or similar scripting language experience
Ability to define and clarify technical development tasks to implement a project.
Proven experience in reviewing solution definition and product requirement documents.
Build relationships at various levels internally and within our customers organisation.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in delivery and software development tasks.
Skills on Linux
15+years payments processing experience in a technical customer facing capacity.
Technical writing skills with ability to write design documentation
Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.
You will be passionate, highly motivated and focused with the ability to deliver to customer deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
