An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Generalist Senior HR Advisor or Consultant looking for a new challenge.
In this role you will be working for a large complex organisation at an operational level covering all facets of HR. This role will test your people and relationship building skills as you provide support to a wide variety of Managers and team leaders.
Duties include :
Operational HR building and maintaining effective working relationships with Managers and staff
Identifying operational risks and assisting with solutions
Assist with HR projects
Support managers with guidance and advice on complex HR issues
Share your knowledge and experience in advising on disciplinary and grievance issues
Assist with recruitment by advising on job structure and PD development
Assist with Employee Relations
Actively support any change management processes through a proactive approach and clear guidelines
Be open to ongoing professional career development by actively engaging in any educational opportunities that arise. Also assist others with professional and career development
Help out on other operational HR duties
To be considered you will ideally have :
A qualification / Degree in HR
3 years plus proven work experience in an operational Generalist HR role
Experience working for a large complex organisation is an advantage
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
The ability to work strategically while looking at the long-term vision
Experience working within a diverse organisation
Experience with NZ Employment legislation
Intermediate to advanced MS office
