Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support for Thales applications and resolving related technical issues.
  • Lead, as a subject matter expert to provide advice as and when required.
  • Running reports and publishing to a central location on regular basis or as requested by the Customers.
  • Monitor and manage the security, capacity, load and performance of Thales Business Systems.
  • Define and control accurate asset records and configurations in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for Thales Business Systems.
  • Assist in documenting and maintaining system changes, administration or business procedures, work instructions and forms.
  • Comply with Incident Management, Change Management, Service Management, and Problem Management processes in accordance with ITIL guidelines.
  • Attend regular departmental meetings with manager to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology and or Commerce
  • Excellent English oral and writing skills
  • Demonstrated experience as a System Administrator supporting over 100 users.
  • Windows and Linux Server experience.
  • Exposure to HP Blade Centres, SAN and VMware systems.
  • SQL or DBA experience.
  • Networking and fault finding experience.
  • Experience with change release protocols in an IT Operations Environment.
  • Experience in IT service delivery industry.
