We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our Supply Chain division on a permanent fulltime basis within our Port Otago Warehouses.
This is a permanent annualised hours seasonal role where employees will be engaged on the basis that they will work no less than 1900 hours per annum.
Being on annualised hours gives you the possibility to enjoy a few months of paid time off during our quiet season after completing all 1900 hours of work.
Hours will predominantly be Monday to Friday, with some weekend and shift work depending on shipping and distribution schedules.
Legislation requires that this position needs to be performed by someone who is vaccinated against Covid-19.
Where is the position based?
Port Otago has four warehouses Port Chalmers, Sawyers Bay, Mosgiel and Dunedin Cold Stores and you need to be prepared to work any shift at any of these sites, while handling various different products such as Fish, Dairy and Timber.
