Our DNI (Digital Network Infrastructure) group are currently seeking Inside Plant (IP) and Cellular Technicians to join their team based in Auckland
This is an exciting new role as you will be working on some new and upcoming projects with high-profile clients within the Power and Telecommunications industry.
Your main responsibilities will be to install, commission, test, and troubleshoot cellular and radio communication systems cabinets, antennas, antenna systems, microwave radio and fibre transmission systems.
The work will predominantly be within the wider Auckland region with occasional travel to other depots to provide assistance as required.

Experience working on a New Zealand or Australian telco or power network is a must. You will also need to have a clean Class 1 driver’s licence as well as have proof of work rights in NZ.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Flexible working hours are an essential part of the role as telecommunication is deemed to be an essential service in New Zealand.
Therefore, participation in weekend and night stand-by rosters may be part of the job requirement.
Must be able to travel and work away from home with short notification. There is a requirement to be part of a standby roster for cellular clients.
The successful candidate shall be motivated and competent to ensure that projects are completed to the clients' satisfaction while meeting or exceeding Ventia’s profitability expectations.

reliable and have good communication skills.
