  • Part Time 0.6, Fixed Term position available in the Canterbury Eye multi-disciplinary is seeking a registered nurse. The Eye Clinic is a very busy and demandingservice that is staffed by a dedicated team of Nurses, Orthoptists,Optometrists and Technicians who work closely with our highly skilled andspecialised Ophthalmologists to meet the eye health needs of the people of for undertaking ophthalmic acuity assessments and providing patient educationprior to eye surgery and education regarding ongoing management of theircondition.
  • Therefore, experience in Ophthalmology is desirable, however acomprehensive orientation will also be provided to the successful the desire to extend their clinical practice and work within a specialised areawould be welcomed.

    Your excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to workpositively and flexibly in a team environment is essential within this role.

    The Eye Clinic hours are currently 7 : 30 am to 6 : 30pm Monday to Friday, soshifts will be within these hours. across to Te Whatu Ora - Health NZ.
